"Disappointment with God" Book Discussion
Join Pastor Tim for a discussion of Philip Yancey's thought-provoking book, "Disappointment with God". This book seeks to wrestle with three questions people at times ask.

I AM - Portraits of Jesus
This summer, join us for a back-to-basics sermon series on the "I Am" statements of Jesus that are found in the Gospel of John. As we hear Jesus say things such as "I am the light of the world" and "I am the good shepherd," our Lord paints us a brilliant portrait of who he is and why he came.
The Illuminator
Saturday July 4
Sunday July 5
Light is such an important thing. Not only does light help us see, it literally gives life. Without light, there is no life. In John 8:12-20, Jesus makes a simple statement. "I am the light of the world," he says. A simple statement yes, but packed with meaning and life-giving power. Come, let's celebrate the light of Christ, "The Illuminator."
The Mediator
Saturday July 11
Sunday July 12
As Jesus paints a self-portrait with his "I Am" statements, we hear him say in John 10:7-10, "I am the gate." What does this mean for you, for me, or for anyone that Jesus is a gate? Come and find out as we discover Jesus, "The Mediator."
The Caretaker
Saturday July 18
Sunday July 19
One of the most enduring and endearing portraits of Jesus is seeing him as a good and gentle shepherd. In John 10:11-18, we hear Jesus echo the words of Psalm 23 when he says, "I am the good shepherd." What does this statement really say about Jesus? Let's explore this question together and find Jesus, "The Caretaker."
The Life Giver
Saturday July 25
Sunday July 26
Throughout John's gospel, Jesus makes many bold statements about himself. None are striking than his claim to be the "resurrection and the life" (John 11:17-27). Jesus says if we believe in him we will live even though we die. Come hear the good news and celebrate that all life, even eternal life, is in Jesus Christ!
The Path
Saturday August 1
Sunday August 2
People have created many ways to reach God. Sadly, none of them work. Thankfully God himself endorses only one, clear way to connect to him - his Son, Jesus Christ. In John 14:1-10, Jesus claims to be "the way, the truth and the life" giving us access to our loving Father. Join us in marveling at God's path to life, truth and grace.
The Source
Saturday August 8
Sunday August 9
When we are connected to Jesus, good things come from him to us. Our faith thrives and flourishes. He becomes the source of enriching faith-nutrients. Apart from him, our faith life is unable to thrive. We learn all this as Jesus paints a portrait of branches connected to the vine in John 15:1-9. We'll find out Jesus is "The Source."
The Start and Finish
Saturday August 15
Sunday August 16
As we wrap up our "I Am" summer series, our focus turns to the book of Revelation. There, in Revelation 1:4-8, Jesus makes this claim..."I am the Alpha and the Omega." We'll learn from Jesus's own words how is indeed "The Start and Finish".
