I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth.

Welcome to Redeemer
When people think of a church, most people think of a place. When you think about Redeemer we want you to think about people, not just any people but a growing group of diverse people who are passionately following Jesus. So, when you think of Redeemer, we want you to think of us as individuals excited to be involved in our mission of connecting people to Jesus. We want you to experience with us the acceptance, significance and purpose we believe God promises for our lives. We want you to join with us as we seek to be energized and better equipped to deal with life’s challenges. We want you to know that we love, care for, and encourage you as much as we do ourselves. We want you to celebrate with us the marvelous grace of God in Jesus Christ. We want you to experience with us the life transforming power of His word. We want you to notice what a difference a group of Christian people can make in their community and in their world as they dedicate their lives and resources to God’s purposes. We want you to notice a people connected to Jesus!
We would love to have you join us!
Tim Runtsch, Senior Pastor
Mission & Vision
OUR PURPOSE Why We Exist
Redeemer Lutheran Church exists to proclaim the Gospel of our Savior, Jesus Christ
OUR MISSION What We are About
Redeemer Lutheran Church is a community of Christians called to connect people to Jesus Christ with grace, with truth, and with compassion.
OUR VISION Where We are Headed
Redeemer Lutheran Church seeks to impact Northern Colorado by making disciples of Jesus Christ and equipping them for life as his committed followers.
Core Beliefs
We believe… - That the Holy Scriptures are the true, inspired and authoritative Word of God.
- That God is a Triune God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- That humans are born sinful and in need of God’s forgiveness, love, and grace.
- That our sins are forgiven through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- That God’s Word, Holy Baptism, and the Lord’s Supper are ways that God brings his forgiveness and grace into our lives.
- That eternal life is a free gift from God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
- That Jesus Christ will one day return as victorious Lord of all.
How Do I Join Redeemer?
Redeemer Lutheran Church seeks to be a warm and welcoming community of Christians. Our mission is to "connect people to Jesus." We hope you'll worship with us a number of times before you decide to become a active member of our church family. If you are interested in membership at Redeemer, please let us know by filling out our Attendance Registration Card in our worship folder and dropping it in the offering basket. Be sure to check the "Interested in Church Membership" checkbox on the form.
Five times a year we offer our "Connecting to Redeemer" event. Usually held on Sunday afternoons, this event is meant to aquiant you with the mission, vision and bottom-line beliefs of Redeemer Lutheran Church. It's a great interactive event that will give you deeper insights into our church and what it means to be a follower of Jesus Chist.

Our Future
We believe that God has big plans for Redeemer Lutheran Church. Here are some of the highlights: - Expansion of our current church facility in 2008. We plan to double the square footage of the current facility so that we will have more education and meeting space, as well as a second worship center that will double as a gym.
- We plan to expand our ministry to become a "multi-site" church. As a multi-site church we will be one church with multiple locations. Our goal is to reach out to our region with the Good News of Jesus Christ through offering worship and other ministries throughout northern Colorado.
- We plan to retool our efforts to truly become a small group church. Much of our ministry is already done in small groups. We plan to expand our small group ministry so that hundreds of people can be involved in the joy and blessing of small group.
- We plan to expand our ministry to children and to youth. These are already dynamic ministries for us at Redeemer, but we need to expand them to reach more and more young people with the love of our Lord.
"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come to pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13

Our History
Redeemer Lutheran Church was chartered on October 16th, 1988, with the mission of reaching out in the name of Jesus Christ to the people of south Fort Collins, north Loveland, Windsor and the surrounding area. Since that time the people of Redeemer have grown in both grace and numbers. The congregation was founded with a high priority for Christian education for young and old alike. Pastor Gary Grasmick served Redeemer on a part-time basis from October of 1988 until July of 1990. The Rev. Tim Runtsch was installed as Redeemer’s first full-time pastor on July 15th, 1990.
In September of that year the congregation bought property on Brittany Drive in south Fort Collins. The congregation’s first church building of its own was dedicated on that property on December 5th, 1993. Prior to this facility Redeemer worshipped in a nursing home chapel and in a storefront. In September of 1994, Redeemer opened the Redeemer Preschool.
On Easter Sunday, April 11, 2004, we relocated to our brand new church on Greenstone Trail in order to provide more adequate space for the ministries of the congregation. The congregation continues to grow and expand its ministry.
